“PACK 311 AND THE TRAIL OF INDIANA JONES”

This Adventure Camp Weekend is based on the exploits of the fictional archaeologist Indiana ("Indy") Jones featured in four movies starring Harrison Ford as the title character. Conveniently, Indy’s adventures were set during the lifetime of the founder of Scouting, Lord Robert Baden-Powell (1857-1941), a fact we use to link Indiana Jones to the very beginnings of the Scouting movement.

The first teaser for camp occurs when the Cubmaster reveals a mysterious letter and postcard found at Camp Josepho. He reads it to the Scouts:


When the Scouts go to the library as instructed, they find the copy of the
Boy Scout Handbook that Indy was referring to:
